First and foremost I want to say Dan is an excellent host and clearly loves Villa. When there’s something going on at Villa then he’s in there early, the episodes with Tanswell on are always fantastic.
However there is a *lot* of filler. Sometimes you’ll get a twenty minute episode with seven or eight minutes of adverts and some of the episodes where there’s not a lot to say feel like they exist only to deliver the aforementioned adverts.

This is a brilliant show when Tanswell’s on, but steer well clear when Dan has no guests and - in-between countless ads - gets himself into a lather over whatever the issue of the day is. Can be a genuine mood-killer.
Dan is great—high interest host with reasonable takes. Love his shows with Tanswell, especially. Has added a ton of fun to following Villa from the States.
Dan comes across really well and very professional! He tries to give an honest review or opinion, he also gives a Dean Smith quote “not too high and not too low”.
Really enjoy listening to Jacob too when he comes on and with his knowledge of the game and transfers it fantastic!
Always a great pod to listen to for the latest and greatest Villa news. Great guests, especially the Villa oracle Jacob Tanswell, who makes regular appearances!
