Show is solid, but listening to the podcast version is awful. Any drops or audio from say a press conference just won’t be there, really annoying and it’s been like this for ages. Not to mention they will throw an ad in basically mid sentence these days, not even at a natural break point which makes for a very jarring listening experience.
Been listening for years, hand down the best you will find. Local detroit sports is covered with a great mix at the national level. They always call it how they see it, I don’t care what the bots or cultists say, they just don’t like the honest reporting and facts. Keep up all the great content and content, can’t get enough!
Will always appreciate what Mike brings to the table as a radio host and just as a reasonable human. Hope he carries on here in Detroit for years to come. Need more voices like him in the national media as well.
I appreciate how Rico works off Mike, always makes for good comedy. I hope for a Roberto return one day, as it doesn’t get better than his song edits. Also hope there’s a way to integrate the drops into these episodes.
Valenti, Rico, and David are absolute beauties. It’s a pleasure that I can listen to these fellas anywhere/anytime. My only problem is Valenti is an SEC rider, him and Paul Finebaum would be best buds.
You know you’re a successful radio host when rival fans of the host’s alma mater continue to come back and listen to the show because they know deep down Mike is the best sports radio commentator in the state. I mean, cmon guys, someone’s gotta keep that cheating cesspool of a sports department accountable when no one else in the press will. Valenti is far and away more educated and talented than any other radio personality at 97.1 and everyone knows it.
