Valenti and TJ Lang (in for Rico) spent the majority of today's show with their reactions to what Dylan Larkin (didn't) have to say during his comments to the media today. They heard from a bunch of equally frustrated Red Wings fans while they also m... more
Mike and TJ jumped right into Dylan Larkin's comments to the media today, in which he refused to address his trade request from the Red Wings earlier this offseason. They closed out the first hour with some NFL takes and whether each was an overreact... more
The guys began to preview Lions-Bills to open the second hour, but the prevailing sentiment for today's show was frustration regarding Dylan Larkin, so they stuck with that.
People were still fed up about Larkin's comments to the press, so Mike and TJ continued to take your calls and read your texts on the topic. They also briefly talked about Lions-Bills before wrapping up the show.

Great show overall. BUT…One of the best parts of the show is the drops. If it’s a copy right issue then they shouldn’t be played on the radio either. Either play the drops on all platforms or no platforms. You can’t even play the clips of your own colleagues when you do who said it? How dumb is that honestly?

I try to like Rico. Really try. But he’s just not a very good broadcaster. Mike is the goat.
Show is solid, but listening to the podcast version is awful. Any drops or audio from say a press conference just won’t be there, really annoying and it’s been like this for ages. Not to mention they will throw an ad in basically mid sentence these days, not even at a natural break point which makes for a very jarring listening experience.
Been listening for years, hand down the best you will find. Local detroit sports is covered with a great mix at the national level. They always call it how they see it, I don’t care what the bots or cultists say, they just don’t like the honest reporting and facts. Keep up all the great content and content, can’t get enough!

A lively Detroit-focused sports talk show known for its blunt takes and deep dives into local teams (Tigers, Lions, Red Wings) alongside national sports business and media topics. Episodes routinely mix game analysis with commentary on advertising saturation, NIL culture, media rights, and the evolving economics of college and pro sports, all delivered with rapid-fire banter and caller interaction. The show often pivots from on-field performance to broader questions about sponsorships, branding, and fan experience, making it a go-to for listeners who want opinion-led analysis anchored in data and local loyalties. Noteworthy is the consistent pairing of two hosts with a dynamic dynamic, plus frequent long-form conversations that thread humor... more
