Wesley has done an excellent job of finding interesting guests from diverse areas of the world of UX. The questions he asks are thought-provoking! There's not too much back and forth-- this podcast is more like a question/answer session than a discussion. But in this case, the format works. Wish you were still publishing more episodes!
Just listened to an interview with Whitney Hess that aired in 2014. Wesley asked great questions. Listen carefully to the answers that Whitney gives and you'll get some very helpful info!
Thank you Wesley for making this possible! Excited to listen to your other interviews.
I'm a web design student trying to get my foot in the door with UX, and this podcast has been incredibly helpful. Thank you so much!
Thumbs up
Love this podcast! It was awesome to actually just listen to how you were growing more and more as a podcast host. As you gained more knowledge you could hear that you matured as a host and a ux designer. Thanks for doin this podcast. Its been inspirational and educating. Good luck in your future endeavors wesley.
Wesley, I know you’re not doing this podcast anymore, but this is unbelievably helpful to someone who finally figured out what she wants to be when she grows up- at 46. I start wondering about something and then you ask it. This gives me the confidence to go to conferences and approach people an be persistent if I want to work in this field. You do a great job!
I stumbled upon UX intern completely randomly. I am not an intern exactly but I am restarting my career in UX after a long motherhood break and at times I feel completely overwhelmed. I found some great topics by some awesome speakers in here and looking forward to listening to more of them! Good work Wesley, thanks for this. :-)
As someone who is trying to break into the UX industry this podcast has been incredibly helpful. The guests are amazing and Wesley asks fantastic questions. Thank you Wesley, this has been incredibly helpful!
Really great resource for students, career changers and people in the education industry. Terrific concept for a podcast. I hope there will be more from Wesley who is probably carving a really bright future for himself.
Wesley has done such a great job with this podcast, as a new-comer to the field it constantly inspires and informs me. The perspective and approach that Wesley takes in delving into these thought leaders' experiences reaffirms my descision to focus on UX. This is crucial for me, as I sometimes get discouraged with the amount of experience that is often required in the job descriptions that I run into.
I love listening to this podcast before my UX job interviews, it gets me pumped up, confident,... more
I’m an experienced UXer and find these interviews really wonderful listening either as a break or as background. Each casual conversation offers incredible insights into the minds of experienced, devoted practitioners shaping the way the world thinks about UX and design.
Having only recently 'discovered' the world of UX, I was so excited to find this podcast. And the fact that it's such a GREAT podcast is even better! Thank you for positioning this series from the perspective of someone who is new to the topic. I'm finding that many learning sources assume I know far more than I truly do and as a result have left me somewhat intimidated and fearful of exploring the field further. Your podcast is exactly what I needed; hearing from the experts and their starting ... more
Wesley’s interview style helps lead guests through extremely valuable topics to User Interface beginners and pros alike, with a level of entertainment that captivates listeners throughout each episode.
The guest list isn’t half bad either. Definitely one of my favorite new industry podcasts.
I really enjoy this podcast and am looking forward to hearing more episodes. The beginner’s perspective is a fresh and engaging outlook. Thanks + keep it up!
Wesley's doing a great service for anyone (such as myself) new to the field of UX with this podcast. It's great to hear professionals share their insight and encouragement, and hearing UX concepts being thrown around conversationally and in the context of real professional scenarios is so immensely helpful.
Each episode has been not only informative, but also entertaining. They helped keep me occupied today for the long boring drive from SE Wisconsin to Minneapolis. Made a 5 hour drive feel li... more
