I love Sue’s approach to branding and how she gets others to talk about their approach to branding. It’s never preachy. It’s always a discussion between two professionals about what does and doesn’t work when branding yourself. Even as a marketer, I always learn something new when I listen to this show.
Yep, it’s true, particularly for business who have brand equity. When coming together with anther company, you need to be thoughtful and intentional about how and when that is done. Thankfully, Sue is a master marketer who not only gets this reality but really pushed for all the ways marketing can be a driver of value for a company post-deal. I enjoyed being a guest because Sue asked sharp questions and elevated the conversation around marketing’s role in M&A.
