The Tom Barnard Show features local and national guests and is heavily focused on humor. Tom Barnard, host of the #1 local morning show in the United States since 1986, created the podcast with the goal of a show with more creativity and flexibility than radio. Tom hosts the show along with his wife Kathryn, daughter Alex, and son Andy. It airs live central time, Monday-Friday 10:30 to 11:45. You ... more

The Ketamine Queen has been sentenced. Hers was not a light sentence. Somehow this segued into Parkinson's and Michael J Fox, who's had the disease for over 35 years now. And speaking of things that lasted forever, Tom's 40th anniversary of the KQ... more
Some people retire and that's it. They're done doing things. Some people retire and end up roped into more activities than ever before. Personally, I hope to be the former, but it's rarely up to you how your life turns out. But no matter who you ... more

The only bright spots on the podcast anymore are Kristyn Burt, Tim Lammers and Britney Arneson when they are on. Tom goes on and on about the same tired things every day – “Why can’t we all get along? I’m not a Democrat or Republican. We are raised differently. How did we get here?” Blah blah blah. This would be okay is once in awhile, but it’s every damn day. Kathryn Brandt is the most annoying person and does not let facts get in the way of her opinions. She never digs deep into what is actual... more

Tom, I love your podcast. I’ve been listening to ever since that shathole let you go and you started this new gig. As a matter of fact, I’ve listened to you for so long (literally 30+ years) that you feel like a long lost family member. You are truly the best in the biz. Don’t change a thing.
P.S., you need to do a few more public appearance before you ride off into the sunset.
Your loyal listener,
Pat (Another poor kid from MPLS)

I'm 30 now and I've been listening to Tom on the Q since I was 12, and he runs a great show and I love his perspective on most things. Great guests, great comedians, and just a great interviewer.
But Tom, your family has ruined your radio savvy and your reputation. You keep trying to transition the show to them but the second Tom is gone, the show dies.
Alex contributes literally nothing to the show, taking away more than that soulless being could ever contribute.
Andy can Google anything ... more
