I very much want more podcasts that explain complex physics to laypeople like me. This one was promising, but it's not going to work for me. It emphasizes wacky fun, but doesn't pay enough attention to good science communication. A lot of the conversations jump ahead and then backfill with context, which is just so confusing. It needs some structure and a lot of editing.
Too long intro/outro, forced humor that is frankly childish, not natural feeling or in touch with the guests or the audience. The content can be amazingly interesting, but the level package needs a lot of upgrading. I've stopped listening because I couldn't bear it anymore
As an engineer building space junk, this podcast alleviates my spirits during the daily commute. It instills a proper sense of wonder around topics that are easy to overcomplicate.
EDIT: I miss your wonderful podcasts. However your recent-ish politically laden preamble was a big turn off. Please keep politics out of the wonderful science of the universe. There’s a million political podcasts, but only one TitaniumPhysicist!
Global standard scientists explain it all in the style of a Big Bang take away at Sheldon’s. No maths. All plain talking descriptions and conjectures.
