Instead of diving into the darkness like we usually do in this podcast, I want to reach up into the light. Instead of exploring the mysterious, I want to talk about the only thing that I KNOW to be true.

Great facts/ story telling, I was captivated while horrified! Found this podcast from drinking the Koolaid. Added to my playlist!!
Each well researched episode has only one problem: it’s too short. Love the combination of true crime, cryptozoology, and just plain strange. 10/10 would recommend!
This podcast never fails to bring the chills. One might think these are run of the mill made up ghosts or barely researched true crime nuggets. But no: these are the real deal, well-researched and presented to heighten the fear appropriate to the stories being told.
I see how much work goes into every episode. It’s incredible. Do yourself a favor and listen to The Timber!
I can’t get enough of regional spooky folklore, and this podcast offers some of the best of that. Meticulously well-researched, and very frightening, but Tyler’s soft-spoken narration gives the whole production the feeling of a scary bedtime story. I can’t wait for more episodes.
