I’m never able to listen successfully to Lindsey / Tara segments because of the unbalanced nature of the audio. Lindsey’s mic does her voice no favours, making it sound thin and recessive. Tara’s voice comes over as subjectively much louder, but distorted and no better than poor phone line quality. This difference in subjective volume means that if I listen at a comfortable level to hear Lindsey, Tara’s distorted audio is loud enough to start triggering my tinnitus; whereas if I listen at a reas... more
Note to podcasters: chose a room with carpets and soft wall surfaces. Use a quality unidirectional mic. Sit closer to mic. Otherwise it’s too fatiguing to listen to your fine podcast. more
