STOP SAYING VIN NUMBER. THE ‘N’ STANDS FOR NUMBER. Otherwise a very good podcast.
An almost-unbelievable story, but it really did happen. Keith Morrison expertly narrates a tale of human greed, paying due respect to the killers' victims. Well put together and a good listen.
True crimes best narrator OF ALL TIME! This case was super interesting and shocking for 2 old ladies. A thoroughly enjoyable podcast thank you, I’d love Keith to do many more of these “The Thing About…” I love them. I love the way the case is told from start to finish.
It’s crazy to think this is a real story.
Keith is the absolute best storyteller out there, no one tells a story like Keith!
I remember my uncle Ken always smelled like vanilla. He used to smoke a pipe with vanilla smelling tobacco. I find it odd that my aunt Sue agreed to speak on your podcast, but refused to be on the tv show with my dad about uncle Ken’s murder in 2015 or 2016. My dad is her older brother Tom. You said she has a kind smile, don’t be fooled by a wolf that is dressed to look like a sheep. I remember when the detective knocked on my dads door to tell us about uncle Ken’s murder. It was when we lived i... more
So, I’ll listen to Keith read US Tax law.
That said, this was a really interesting story that I hadn’t yet heard of, and I follow like 20 true crime podcasts.
I don’t know what it is, but sometimes their multi-episode podcasts are just stretched out too much. This one was definitely too long by 1 episode. But having said that, it’s still an enjoyable and quirky story. And it’s 10 times better than their abysmal “Murder and Magnolias” podcast. Still, nothing yet has topped their “Girl and the Blue Mustang” podcast. That was peak true crime reporting.
Crazy story about two Golden Girl serial killers, told as only Morrison can tell a tale.
This is a perfect story for the Cohen Brothers to turn into one of their excellent movies.
I love his voice and story telling style. This is a great series.
It only took me one day to listen to this story, and it had every twist-and-turn that you could think of (plus a few you did not). Keith Morrison reading this masterpiece only made it that much better. Thank you so very much for sharing this gem with us.
The only way I would get it back to him was by getting the other ones that you have in your house but he doesn’t know if they were still available
The narrator’s voice was perfect, the music, the timeline, the way the podcast episodes were structured! Everything worked and worked amazingly. Felt like listening to some sort of twisted fairy tale except it was all true. If you are a true crime fan, or even if you just enjoy listening to a really high quality production, would recommend this!
It’s so good that I binged the entire season in one day! Keith did a fabulous job narrating it and despite the awful way the victims were murdered, I’m glad justice was served.
Who tells a story better than Keith? No one! As only he can tell it, this story was disturbing and interesting and just plain crazy!!
