It's a Wine Podcast, but NOT a Podcast all about wine...Meet Mike! He's tall, way into wine, and a former Disc Jockey. This podcast is his life rolled into one fun bundle of wine geekery, relatable conversation, many sips of wine AND laughter. Wine should be fun, right? This podcast tries to be fun. Based out of Nicholson Ranch Winery in Sonoma, California. Yes, THAT Sonoma...wine country!

I recently visited Napa and Sonoma for a wine tasting trip and had the great pleasure to meet Mike Stone at Nicholson Ranch. He was such a genuinely nice and fun person to talk with, and when he said he had a podcast I knew I had to listen. I was planning on just checking out one episode during my flight back home, but I devoured six of them! I had a book with me as well as downloaded movies to pass the time for the 5 plus hour journey, but I got to neither because I was just enjoying myself so ... more
Wine can be complicated but Mike breaks it down in the most entertaining and digestible way possible. Won’t find a better way to consume wine through your ears
This is is the only podcast I’ve been able to stick with and I’m far from a wine connoisseur. I love hearing people’s stories and how they arrived in the wine world. It’s often not how you’d think! Tall Mike obviously enjoys talking to people and is a skilled interviewer. He has a great sense of humor and his radio experience shows in how much fun this is to listen to, complete with unexpected sound effects. Cheers!
I stumbled on this wonderful podcast threw connecting with him on Instagram. As a fellow wine podcaster, Mike is awesome, captivating and a great listen. Love the commentary and wine banter. Subscribed and can’t wait for a new episode. Keep up the great work Mike!
So you mean my “California red” from Costco is not from premier areas?!? I’m shattered! (Man we need a sarcasm font!)
Thanks for the new episode.
