Been listening on and off for a few years. I enjoyed the homesteading and lifestyle design however he loves GOP even if he thinks he’s not. He agrees with almost all of there policies and takes “owning the libs” over everything. He also claims he was right about everything all the time. I miss the old days of the permaculture pod.

Expert Council Q&A – Epi-3876
Q: What are your thoughts on BIP 110 and its effectiveness against spam?
The speaker argues that BIP 110 cannot effectively stop spam and would merely create a different surface for spam, while the network's real control lies with miners and economic activity. Changing Bitcoin through a soft fork is unlikely to succeed because of the consensus-driven nature of the system; the network would resist changes if miners and exchanges don't adopt them.
Saipan, Sovereignty & the Collapse of Empire – Epi-3878
Q: Why did you choose Saipan as a place to live and work, and how does that decision connect to your broader view of empire?
I moved there during the COVID era because borders were closed and Saipan offered a community with fewer restrictions, a different governance model, and a chance to build locally while remaining connected to the broader US system. It illustrates how empire expands and contracts by shaping edges where autonomy can intensify or deteriorate depending on policy, culture, and economics.
Expert Council Q&A – Epi-3879
Q: What are your thoughts on buying a home in retirement with two properties on the line?
Avoid romanticized plans; keep a secure place to return to; use careful screening and written agreements with property managers; consider equity extraction and alternative rental streams like short-term rentals if appropriate; plan for contingencies and be prepared to adapt.
Expert Council Q&A – Epi-3879
Q: What are your thoughts on using a rental management company to take care of rentals while traveling?
Approach rental management pragmatically: it's okay to use a property manager, but keep control over screening tenants and ensure everything is in writing; don't surrender full control or sell all your properties; consider long-term versus short-term leasing and how to maintain a place you can return to.
Expert Council Q&A – Epi-3867
Q: What program should I be following for fitness and health?
The best program is the one you will actually do; prioritize consistency and choose activities (like basic strength work with dumbbells) that you can maintain long-term, while incorporating occasional higher-intensity elements to stimulate progress.
