In this week's episode we look how to get beginner runners from a 4hr marathon to 3hrs.
To kick-off the new season we start with Talent part two. We look at what talent is and why you don't need talent to run a good marathon.
We also announce the two winners of the super shoe competition.
In this episode we examine what is and is not talent - with case studies. We use science to prove that the majority of running science is wrong, and that the art of coaching is the way to make the big gains - as evidenced in Stazza's Stable.

Great show! I loved how you helped out the lady that criticized your ramblin’ on episode 1 of the sub 3 series. You searched her on Strava and gave some advice. That was really cool. Great show and keep of the great work. I’ve listened to your Marcus brown interview and your sub3 marathon training a bunch. Keep the podcasts coming! Thank you!
Stazza takes a different approach to both podcasts and marathon training. Taking a laid back approach, weaving in his decades of coaching experience with his easy style, this series strips back much of the information out there which can make it all seem so complicated, and simplifies it.
Around 30 mins feels just right, and you can listen to it from beginning to end on any run.
I'll certainly be listening to the regular episodes.
Looking forward to picking up some useful tips!!
Brilliant podcast , love listening whilst I’m out running , so much to take away from each episode so far ! Thank you , keep em coming please .
The best running podcast out there so much great advice, the combination with Majella works a treat.
Great podcast, loads of good information delivered in a clear and no nonsense manner. Glad it’s going weekly.
