Guests are fascinating!
Unfortunately they’re overshadowed by a pompous narrative-puppet of a host constantly throwing softball/leading questions. Often to the point that the content feels completely rehearsed and unauthentic.
So many wasted opportunities for real content.
Absolutely fantastic espionage podcast! The guests almost feel too good to be true- historians, writers, and actual operatives from the field!
This podcast is SO up my alley. I was thrilled to find it. I really hope there is another season. I’d love to hear from someone involved in the wonderful French series The Bureau. Also, please ignore the Trump fan’s whiny review. 😬
Great podcast - find the music slightly irritating
Enjoying the story once it begins though.
Did you know that basically everything you’ve ever accomplished since 1776 was because Americans fought for you and gave it to you
