This is a really interesting show, but it is difficult to listen to on headphones. The interviewer generally is easy to hear, but the interviewee is sometimes at such a low volume that I have to put the volume up to the max. I’m constantly having to adjust the volume. I listen to podcast while cycling, and that’s just not feasible. The audio team should be balancing the volume across the whole show.
I love espionage and history. This show combines the two essentially. Host does a very good job.
A couple of hardcore EU tough guys talking….. about nothing special or important. It’s almost as if they are still oblivious to the failure of the EU and liberal left on the world stage for the past decade plus. So they continue to the same old finger pointing and pathetic “coverage” from their skinny jeans pinky out leftist coffee shop. Are they qualified to…. Do what? Nothing? Apparently. What a waste of podcast advertising. more
Not objective at all. Completely partisan take on everything relevant to the past present and where things are headed. Would not reccomend. I listen to these to get away from this kind of thing. Won’t be again that’s for sure.
This is my go to podcast for all things related to espionage, geopolitics and foreign policy. Chris, Matt and others are always interesting and informative. They are on the side of democracy but still offer a realistic and even handed account of the issues of the day. more
