The HOSTS are the EMPLOYEES of 3Spine
(MARKETING DIRECTOR and ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT).
3spine is the developer of MOTUS.
MOTUS is currently being studied. It is a lumbar motion preserving implant.
It seems to me that they are discussing motion preservation of the spine as a means to DISGUISE the actual reason for the podcast which is to MARKET the MOTUS device.
The hosts don’t seem to have anything beyond a superficial understanding of the spine.

I’ve been a first assist for almost 30 years and seen so much change in the industry. This podcast is awesome, they’ve had some great guests so far. Great way to learn about surgeons and new devices and technologies in spine right now
I’m so glad someone is finally talking about this!! I’ve done so much research over the years for family needed spine surgery for their back pain and all you can find is fusion. Knees, hips, shoulders, ankles - we don’t fuse any of those but we still fuse in the spine!! The first few episodes have been great, I hope they continue to have good guests to push this information forward for patients!
I’ve been in this industry a long time and love hearing about new technologies coming to the market and the surgeons that are driving the changes in spine care. Really love this concept, there’s some really great information in the first few episodes. Excited to see who they all have on as guests. Dr. Pat is fantastic, have known him a long time and really can’t find a better biomechanics expert in this field!!
