This podcast is perfect for when you finish a book but can’t let it go yet. Just a fun way of ‘chatting’ about your recent book with your besties.
If Maddy expanded her vocabulary, and stopped using Gen Z slang every other sentence, this podcast would be so much better.
I truly don’t mean to be rude, but as someone who IS Gen Z, I’ve not even heard someone my age talk like this. At least someone past the age of 15.
I think toning down the usage of just saying “girl” and “tea” would be a massive improvement.
Was super excited when I came across this podcast. Decided to listen to the twilight episode first. Alex was great to listen to but Maddy grated on my nerves. I feel like I lost some brain cells listening to her and couldn’t finish the last half of the podcast. Great concept, love the books and fanfic listed to review, but can’t with Maddy.
You guys, I am so happy you guys are into Dramione fanfic just like I am. My friends know I’m into Dramione fanfic and they have tried to get into the fandom but it hasn’t really captured their hearts like it has for mine. So by listening to this podcast, it makes me feel like I am sharing my favorite fanfic and smut books lol! Please continue what you guys are doing! You guys are amazing!
Love it! Every episode is such a fun way to re-live the joy of reading some of my favorite books<3 The mix between Dramione fanfics and romance novels is PERFECT. Could not recommend more!

Two best friends riff about books with a focus on romance, fan culture, and flirty banter. They unpack recent reads, fan fiction, and bookish trends with strong emphasis on worldbuilding, romance tropes, and open discussion about sensitive topics in fantasy and romance. The show blends lively personality, thoughtful analysis, and spoiler-friendly discussions, often highlighting niche subgenres like Dramione and sapphic romance, making it a go-to for listeners who crave entertaining book banter and actionable recommendations. A standout feature is the duo's lighthearted dynamic and willingness to tackle both popular and cult-favorite titles, which can make it a good fit for sponsors looking to reach committed book-loving audiences.
