Was so excited to learn of this Podcast from the Slowtwitch forums.
While I enjoyed the conversation can’t just just hang a “be back soon” sign outside for nearly 5 months.
I do appreciate them addressing how Ironman corp cannibalized the market by gobbling up all the events during the 10 year bull run did some damage.
Skye Moench interview was great. I really appreciate the "behind the scenes" view.
I’m trying to figure out why it took 13 minutes into a short 30 minute podcast to even mention that someone passed away? Clearly Messick chose you for a reason to share his views of Hamburg. His statements were cringe worthy. How much longer until Ironman finds a new leader? Big fail on your part to hold him accountable. Basically his take is these types of events happen - this one was just on-camera? And, The municipality approved the course and safety plan? Who is the expert here? Garbage interview.
