  • you’ll have to revisit these episodes

The personal brand and the Burnout episodes changed my perspective a lot. The only suggestion I’ll give to the listeners is to come back and listen to the episodes a few times as I felt I had more hidden realisations like layers of onions after a 2nd or 3rd time listening to these.

    Absolute goldmines. Thanks, Skip team!

How Meta Is Reinventing Product Management
Q: What skills become more valuable in this AI-enabled PM world?
First principles thinking, capability to influence and collaborate across functions, and the ability to interpret AI outputs within the real-world incentives of users and ecosystems become critical; domain expertise remains important but is complemented by the PM's ability to steer and validate AI-driven recommendations.
How Meta Is Reinventing Product Management
Q: How do AI tools alter the role of an individual PM vs. an executive?
PMs now work more in close collaboration with AI agents to draft concise problem statements, prototypes, and evaluation criteria; executives gain enormous visibility into the status of numerous projects through AI-generated summaries and alerting, enabling more proactive governance.
How Meta Is Reinventing Product Management
Q: What is the biggest change in Meta's product management with AI over the last couple of years?
Two core shifts stand out: (1) the way PMs discover and shape problems, with AI-assisted discovery and prototyping accelerating idea validation, and (2) the way executives digest information, with AI-driven summaries and dashboards replacing dense, manual reviews—allowing faster, more informed decision-making.
The PM Career Framework for AI (Part 3): AI Labs to Founding
Q: Should I specifically look for pre-Series A companies where my equity percentage could be meaningful, or is founding my own thing the only way to really capture upside?
Founding is a different skill set than joining a startup. While you can capture significant upside in a founding role, joining a startup often comes with established structures and potential benefits as well.
The PM Career Framework for AI (Part 3): AI Labs to Founding
Q: Are remote senior roles basically dead? Do I have to choose between my family's stability and my career relevance?
Remote senior roles are declining, especially in the tech industry. You may need to make sacrifices regarding your family's stability to pursue your career goals.
