I first heard Rachel on another podcast, but I really liked her energy and the way she spoke about flower essences. So I picked up her podcast and started tuning in. That led me to her Substack and now to her Etsy shop! As a listener/reader, she just feels relatable. Like a friend you’re having a conversation with. And in the spiritual space, that’s so valuable. If you really want to learn in an accessible way, hear from some cool folks and explore your own spirituality, I’d definitely recommend... more
It’s rare to find a space in the spiritual world that doesn’t sugarcoat the mess that actually drives us to seek healing. The Skeptical Shaman does exactly that — it speaks in a language I recognize. No fake calm voice, no toxic positivity, no pretending the hard stuff isn’t part of the path.

This isn’t only filled with an abundance of information but it’s put in a way that truly makes you feel safe, cared for and heard. Which is insane considering you’re only listening. 10/10 recommend
Thought-provoking and wide-ranging, this podcast is a fascinating glimpse into the business of Woo on so many levels, with side trips into philosophy, history, psychology, and much more. Every episode broadens my world and knowledge in such great ways while being fun, engaging, and incredibly real. Great guests, great host, great topics. I look forward to every new drop.
The Skeptical Shaman immediately intrigued me by title alone. Any spiritual practitioner who actively makes an effort to differentiate themselves from the mass commodification of spirituality is a green flag in my book, and upon listening Rachel lives up to her title. She is incredibly knowledgeable, witty, and down to earth. This podcast is a highly a refreshing dose of reality while always maintaining spiritual integrity!
