Great pod! I love the irony, irreverence, & down-home tone of the presenter! Also, the presenter’s incredible knowledge about China. As he correctly says, “you may not care much about China, but China cares about YOU.” I have found his analysis to be spot-on! A must listen to any & all people interested in international relations.
There are valuable insights into China's political landscape on the global stage in this podcast and I had a lot of fun listening to it while commuting to work.
Full disclosure: I know this guy. He has been educating me, admittedly a non-sinophile, about China for years; It’s history, its news, the language and the culture. He can break it down simply for the uninitiated like myself but also speaks to the highest levels, as this has been his career for over a decade. It’s not stuffy show though, there is a lot of personality and silliness intermixed with the knowledge being dropped. I’m excited for this to be part of my weekly cycle!
