I'm a new listener and every episode with Danny pisses me off. Even when he has something positive to say he's still complaining somehow. Maybe I don't get his humor, but it doesn't translate to the audience. Too bad because he's in a lot of episodes with my favorite classics and I skip over those.
By the way I'm aware of the irony of complaining about a guest in order to decry it, so don't bother pointing that out.
I found you when you first had the real Jim’s as a guest loved it ever since when I’m bored I just put on a Random episode of the podcast so great
This show has a really unique twist on how it approaches a TV review show by pulling episodes from different decades to discuss together. I dig it!
The way they do three episodes with one each roughly from the three different decades of the show was a stroke of genius. It actually shows that the Simpsons has gotten mildly better season 20 and beyond, and the mid to late teens were the absolute depths of crap for the series. About the only criticism I have is — maybe it could be edited for time a bit. Episodes run long.
It’s fine.
