I discovered the trick of avoiding wearing distance glasses for close up activities 15+ years ago and stopped upgrading my prescription. My eyes stopped getting worse and occasionally improved a bit. This podcast provides the extra approach of active focus. Very excited to complete the journey to better eyesight. Hope to be able to ditch glaucoma medication in time (ophthalmologist permitting).
I love how real this is. I learned a lot from listening to this.I enjoy hearing others experiences.
There's no doubt that this is the only way for vision improvement. I've been doing active focus for a year and a half and have improved my myopia by 1.5 diopters and have dropped my astigmatism correction altogether. A word of advice... patience. This is a life long commitment.
Heard him on Greg Carlwoods THC. Boy do I wanna strangle my first optometrist.
Was at -7 barely passing the eyechart, and after some work with Jake’s recommendations, I’m 20/25 with 5.75, and improving rapidly and consistently. Given the extended time course of this kind of project, I’m grateful for Jake to add yet another channel through which to support our commitment to the basic habits that reverse the process of myopia. What a mensch!
