  • Nostalgia Galore

As a kid, the SEGA Mega Drive was my escape from growing pains — bullies, figuring out who I was, and who I wanted to be. It also gave me some of my best memories with friends and my brothers, all playing together. This podcast captures all of that, and it’s been awesome discovering games I missed back then.

Season 6: Episode 10 - "Our Favourite Sega Imports with TomFum of Game Older Podcast"
Q: Tom, what was the first import you remember getting, and what made you decide to dive into importing?
The Dreamcast was the gateway. It opened a door to a wider world of games that weren't readily available in stores at the time, and the process of tracking down and importing those titles felt like a personal treasure hunt that hooked me for good.
Season 6: Episode 5 - "65 Years of Sega - with Sega Lord X"
Q: What started your interest in Sega?
Personal memories of early arcade experiences and the appeal of SEGA's arcade roots drew the hosts and guest to SEGA as a defining brand, shaping their lifelong fandom and insight into SEGA's hardware strategy.
Season 6: Episode 23 - "20 Years of Like A Dragon - Highlights of the Yakuza Series feat TomFum"
Q: What was your favorite Yakuza game and why?
Zero stands out due to its raw opening, the strong cast, and how it sets the tone for the series' evolution, though the overall arc across three and the remasters makes a compelling case for a trilogy favorite.
