At The Secret Life of Cookies we know that kitchens are the heart of the home. They’re where families come together, where food comes from and where some of the best conversations take place. Kitchens are where the power is (even nasty President Jackson with his “kitchen cabinet” thought so), and where the baked goods are, which is why Marissa Rothkopf, the host, spends so much time in the kitchen... more

Great show. Host has a really good rappor with the guests. I can read about our society but I can’t cook. This show gives me hope.
My first episode of “Secret Cookies” and I will be back! A thoughtful interview by Marissa Rothkopf with Gen. Hertling and I learned much new information. Definitely a follow!
Interesting conversation and good recipes!
It recently switched to giving a free portion and a subscription followup. The 5/7/22 ended with a pitch to hear the rest via subscription. Now I don’t mind a subscription for podcasts I really love but a heads up that this was going to be the new way to consume the whole podcast would have been nice. I will not be following up though.
Marissa interviews great guests while walking you gracefully through her recipes. She’s very down to earth and funny. I look forward to this show every week.
