What a wonderful look into the art world
Charney is the authority on art crimes and his ability to explain things in words is quite masterful.
These lectures are interesting; however, audio effects have been added which distract from the content.
Well researched and well written, my only wish is that it was more frequent and that the episodes delved deeper into the analysis. As it is, it's a great "taster" of the ever interesting history of art that leaves one wanting.
I enjoy this podcast and was looking forward to listening to the most recent Valentine's show. However, I could not make it far into the program because the background music overpowers the narrator's voice. I am one who enjoys Gregorian chants, but found myself annoyed by the music because it interfered with my ability to concentrate on what Mr. Charney was saying.
