Some crazy omissions in the categories had me screaming at my phone. Do they just choose from films playing on Amazon Prime? The film knowledge is quite basic and most films chosen are recent and reflect the age of the guests. Also I find the ever constant ‘like’ after every second word irritates after a while. A great idea frustratingly executed.
I love geeking out with movie trivia so this is right up my street. Fun, light conversations make this a great podcast to listen to.
Discovered this while looking for a new podcast to listen to and thought I'd give it a go as premise sounded interesting and know of Jack Howard from the Kermode podcasts.
Loving it so far, some really interesting discussions about films and topics you wouldn't normally think would be on a movie podcast.
Highly recommended!
I have to say the Amazon Prime plugs and biases are annoying and ruin this for me.
This is a really clever format to produce some entertaining discussion about films. Often funny and always informed. It will leaves you annoyed that they didn’t pick the film you want but that’s kind of then point. Film is such a subjective medium but we all love to discuss it and that’s exactly what they do on this pod.
