I love hearing the great stories from the past. I’ve been listening to this podcast sing early 2019 and I’ve listened to every show, won’t miss, in the words of Rick Houston, “no way, no how”. This is one of the few podcasts out there that still has morals and values. As a God fearing Christian its always good to hear Rick talk about Jesus Christ and not follow it up with cussing. Both Steve and Rick love the history of the sport and one day my 14 month old son will be able to hear about the roo... more
steering wheel in my Dad’s 1972 Pontiac Catalina listening to Barney Hall call the Winston Cup races and pretending I was Cale Yarborough running up front racing Pearson, Petty and Allison. Listening to this podcast takes me back to those days. I love hearing interviews with the drivers, crew chiefs and pit crew members from years gone by. Whether you grew up a NASCAR fan or just want to learn more about the history of NASCAR, this is the podcast for you. Rick and Steve do a great job!
I had listened to Rick Houston dirty mo podcast and enjoyed it but heard there wasn’t going to be anymore. I was looking for something new to listen to on my commute and found this podcast. I started listening around September 2022 at the beginning and as of January 1st I’m on episode 132. This fills in so much of the history of the sport prior to being a fan. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the history of NASCAR.
I have listened to all but 16 of the episodes and have loved them all. Learned a lot about a sport that I thought I already knew a lot about. Keep up the good work boys.
Signed,
Derek Long
