  • My favorite movie podcast, and I love many!

Where else are you going to get fun people talking about both classic Gene Hackman *and* Dana Carvey movies? The answer is nowhere but here! I’m watching movies I’ve never heard of before, I’m watching movies I’d *forgotten* existed, and all of them are worth it if not just for the discussion afterwards. Thanks for the good times & movies, Geoff!

  • Rib Disco

I checked out this show for Geoff Tate (fan of his standup comedy and his Doug Loves Movies appearances) and my childhood favorite Gleaming the Cube. Although I haven’t seen most of the movies Geoff and crew have tackled since then, I’m enjoying his rapport with his cohosts and especially their fantasy re-cast / remake discussions. Geoff has a great way of deconstructing a forgotten movie and finding the few little changes that could have made it a classic (or at least a cult favorite).

  • Good show except for the call in section

Skip over the razzle section and you’ve got a great podcast here. Also the intro and outro music is waaay too loud in the final mix. I loved watching these movies hungover on a Saturday afternoon on TNT or USA. Geoff is the perfect person to hail these critically maligned classics.
