Jeff’s podcast has been a phenomenal resource for me as a new reefer. His top 10 lists have served as great starting points for me with making stocking decisions in my first reef tank. Some of my favorite episodes have been the ones where he interviews a fellow reefer to do deeper dives into topics like culturing phytoplankton, breeding fish, and the Triton method. Would love to see more like this in the future. Make sure you go check out what he’s doing at his local fish store: Corals Unlimited... more
Every time I google anything Jeff seems to have the answer! 10/10 would recommend it easy listening for anytime of day!
I’m new to the saltwater hobby. I’m currently cycling my Waterbox Reef 220.6! Life made me take a break from aquariums for several years (former keeper of African cichlids). Jeff and his podcast/YouTube channel have been great at providing me with the good, the bad and the ugly of reef keeping. I’ve gained a lot of great nuggets from Jeff.

Very entertaining “self-banter” (if that’s a word) and educational without making the beginning reefers feel stupid. I’ve even re-listened to a few episodes to revisit some topics. Owner doesn’t claim to know everything which is much more welcoming to new hobbyists
This podcast is great and so informative. I’m thinking about setting up a reef tank and it has been so helpful
