I am a long-displaced Philadelphian and love Eagles podcasts, some feel like the lunchroom when I was a kid. This show is the perfect mix of information, analysis, and humor. Some other pods skew so far into seemingly playing to their own bits without serving the show...these folks really nail it. I love the reporting, nothing feels like Hot Take insincerity, and it really feels like being back home talking Birds. Cheers

I Love most of the ringer podcasts. But The Philly Special pod is by far the best. Very in depth sports talk. Especially when talking about the Birds. Great main cast and loads of fantastic regular guests. And is way more informative than most other sports podcasts.

Sheil Kapadia is fantastic. Which is why I have followed him wherever he goes for 15y. In my view he is our generation’s Ray Didinger. I genuinely can’t think of higher praise than that. Zach Berman and Rich Hoffman are great as well.
All of which is why it pains me to be “1 star” level harsh as a direct result of one guest — BLG — who (thankfully) isn’t even on for half of the calendar year bc he is only on during football season. But considering Eagles football is the only sport I religiously... more
