Found this from Kayla Says on YouTube and now am currently binging! Love the witty banter and the deep dives!
I don’t watch drag race anymore, but I’ve come to really enjoy this podcast. I love Kayla and Derek’s perspectives even if I disagree. I appreciate that they’re honest and genuine in their evaluations of the show. They always make me laugh, and even though I don’t enjoy the show, I always enjoy hearing other people’s opinions and especially from people in the fandom who can acknowledge the flaws. I really recommend it if you want drag race opinions and recaps without the toxicity.
I really enjoy both Derek and Kayla for their voices, work, and opinions in the Drag Race and YouTube communities. These two pair incredibly well for this podcast, Kayla is dry and critical but coming from a loving place and Derek is peppy and critical but coming from a loving place (lmao). Their opinions and personalities work well together and their conversations are more interesting and nuanced than just discussing what’s going on in All Stars 9. Great podcast, wonderful to listen to througho... more
Feels like I'm yapping with my friends!!! I like getting to debrief by listening to podcasts and such and it's fun to listen to other people’s opinions even if I don't agree! But right now it feels like there's only one for overly positive, and 2 for more a negative. I think there should be one more tier describe a positive one. Like a “Shoot” in Ruview terms (idk ... more
It remains unclear to me why the Kayla woman is even on this show? She is the most negative, no-drag-knowledge garbage person with absolutely no original thoughts to speak of. I am jealous of her unwarranted confidence, haha. So many other podcasts with actually qualified panelists. NEXT!
