  • Very informative but slow down!

If you’re a TCU fan this podcast has great insights. I always feel like I’m getting the inside scoop.

Melissa- slow down! You’re speaking is like a wild machine gun which makes it tough to enjoy your insights.

Love their show but the last several just a tease for their behind the paywall show. I just not getting the entertainment and content anymore. They seem like they don’t want to do it anymore.

  • Great disparity in quality depending on hosts

In combining several independent podcasts under one umbrella, this channel is now a complete mixed bag of quality. Baylor show is hilarious and bad (the two hosts lack any sense of objectivity, and thus have no credibility). The TCU and UNT crews do a solid job. The Tech “Gauchos” are probably the best show.

THE ROOST PODCAST: 2026 Conference Opponent Previews - Temple
Q: Who's going to lead Temple in touchdowns this coming season?
Sam Brown is expected to lead in touchdowns, with the offense leaning on his veteran presence and the surrounding offensive line to create opportunities.
SMU Mustangs 2026 Football Preview (ft. Billy Embody)
Q: What is the ceiling for SMU this season according to the hosts?
The hosts suggest a ceiling of winning the regular season and potentially the ACC Championship if everything comes together, including strong play from key players like Kevin Jennings, top offensive line performance, and breakout contributions from younger playmakers.
The Longhorn Republic: LSU Tigers Preview
Q: So it's too early for wins and losses predictions. How would you define a successful season for LSU?
A successful season is defined by making the playoffs; otherwise, nine or ten wins would count as a solid improvement, but the playoffs remain the benchmark for the year-one standard given the talent influx and new coaching staff.
UTSA 2026 Football Preview (ft. Jared Kalmus)
Q: How will the offense adapt to new coordinator Rick Bowie and the simplified scheme?
Expect more 12 personnel, a run-first emphasis with a simplified offense to reduce miscommunications, with Will Henderson as a dynamic back drawing attention and potentially easing the load on Owen McCown.
UTSA 2026 Football Preview (ft. Jared Kalmus)
Q: Is there a realistic ceiling for 10- or 11-win seasons given the resource and conference shifts?
While the staff believes in a strong trajectory, the reality is that sustained double-digit wins are difficult against larger programs and evolving conferences, though UTSA can aim for 9- to 10-win seasons and a conference title hunt with the right momentum.
