  • Very informative but slow down!

If you’re a TCU fan this podcast has great insights. I always feel like I’m getting the inside scoop.

Melissa- slow down! You’re speaking is like a wild machine gun which makes it tough to enjoy your insights.

Love their show but the last several just a tease for their behind the paywall show. I just not getting the entertainment and content anymore. They seem like they don’t want to do it anymore.

  • Great disparity in quality depending on hosts

In combining several independent podcasts under one umbrella, this channel is now a complete mixed bag of quality. Baylor show is hilarious and bad (the two hosts lack any sense of objectivity, and thus have no credibility). The TCU and UNT crews do a solid job. The Tech “Gauchos” are probably the best show.

The offensive line and the surrounding offense, including Marrzel Reed, the quarterback, and the new offensive coordinator, are the main concerns due to turnover, lack of proven playmakers, and the need for consistent protection.
THE ROOST PODCAST: 2026 Conference Opponent Previews - UTSA
Q: What are UTSA's main offensive strengths this year, and how does the new system shape that?
The offense is expected to be stacked with a more vertical and aggressive approach under the new coordinator, with a veteran quarterback and several skilled players returning, plus notable transfers who can contribute immediately.
THE ROOST PODCAST: 2026 Conference Opponent Previews - North Texas
Q: What are the most important positions to invest in for North Texas to be competitive in 2026?
The guest notes that edge players, quarterbacks, and the offensive line are crucial, with a focus on linebackers and defensive linemen; North Texas spent on defense to build a more balanced unit while trying to spread risk across multiple positions.
