Love the thorough explanation and analysis of Texas Tech sports. I listen while car-pooling my kids around from drop off to extra-curriculars. Yâall do a great job of breaking down the game and the previews are wonderful. The check-in of other Texas Tech sports are an added bonus and has made me now follow Red Raider Soccer and the Lady Raiders much closer in the last season. Thanks for all you do!
Female listener here but I probably know more about football than my Red Raider husband. I appreciate the preview podcasts before each game/season as I usually donât watch many other big 12 games. I LOVE the instant reaction because I am ALWAYS right there with you laughing or crying or cussing excessively. Strong predictions/high expectations this year gentleman⊠our thoughts and prayers are with your poor future broken hearts. đ
Spencer & Michael do a great job of capturing the heart and the zeitgeist of Red Raider nation. They strike an excellent balance of my perpetual hope of going 12-0 and remaining grounded in reality. I especially look forward to their instant reactions, as they notice the same quirky things that I do, like the lines being barely visible in the K-State / Iowa State game in Dublin, or several years ago when Tech was on ESPN+ and the camera crew was just awfulâŠMichael & Spencer called them the D-T... more
Spencer & Michael do an excellent job previewing & recapping each week for football, basketball as well as keeping up with other Tech sports. Their Instant Reaction episodes are good as they are full of raw emotion. Always good to end Each episode with âWhat did we learn?â
On an instant reaction episode, the first thing that comes out of the hostâs mouth regarding Tech upsetting a highly ranked Iowa State on the road: âI am fighting every urge to be negative about this win.â
SMH I canât with these guys anymore. If you do listen, highly recommend a playback speed of 1.25x
