  • Add it to your study resources

Amazing resource for what it is, although like most or all ABR Core resources it is not exhaustive nor is it meant to be. He covers many high yield topics and certainly has cleared up some confusing ones. I think he really shined with nukes. Main negative is that his voice may bore you to death. I couldn’t listen to more than one or two episodes in a day. Adding it into the mix of reading, flashcards, videos, doing questions, practice tests, taking cases, etc reinforces the material and definite... more

  • Highly relevant topics for radiology board

I highly recommend listening to this podcast to everyone who plans to take radiology board and can not spend dedicated time for studying.

I listened to this podcast( the whole series) last year several times and I got fantastic results. ABR questions were not challenging to me and I was very satisfied with the exam and today I received my results from ABR. Thank you so much Dr. Covington. GOD bless you!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

BI-RADS Version 2025 Ultrasound Part 1
Q: True or false? Breast composition reporting on ultrasound is now included in the newest Birads version 2025 Atlas.
True. The Atlas states that ultrasound assessment of breast density may indicate breast cancer risk and can affect detection and characterization on ultrasound.
BI-RADS Version 2025 Mammography Updates Part 2
Q: How should category zero be interpreted for screening and what are its subtypes?
Category zero is used for screening findings that require additional evaluation or prior imaging for comparison; there are two distinct subcategories—Need Additional Imaging Evaluation and Incomplete Need Prior Mammograms for Comparison—used to guide whether prior imaging is required or if additional imaging is needed for final assessment.
BI-RADS Version 2025 Mammography Updates Part 2
Q: What is the BI-RADS 2025 stance on skin thickening as a sign of potential malignancy?
Skin thickening greater than 2 millimeters is abnormal unless it involves the nipple-areolar complex in a symmetric bilateral pattern, and new unilateral focal skin thickening with suspicious features should raise concern for malignancy.
BI-RADS Version 2025 Mammography Updates Part 2
Q: What are key differences between nipple retraction and nipple inversion?
Nipple retraction is persistent and can be malignant-like if new, unilateral, or irreversible, while nipple inversion is typically reversible, often bilateral, and tends to be stable over the long term; surgical history is important when evaluating both.
BI-RADS Version 2025 Mammography Updates Part 1
Q: What is the guidance on solitary dilated ducts in BI-RADS Version 2025 and how might management differ from prior editions?
Solitary dilated ducts may be considered benign if there are no clinical or imaging changes over time, but diagnostic imaging may be warranted if baseline or symptomatic findings are present to exclude malignancy; final biopsy decisions remain uncertain and may depend on overall imaging context.
