A sort of sports show but not really. Filled with meaninglessness. Hosted by Joe Posnanski and Michael Schur.

I just unfollowed. Joe, I very much respect your ability as a writer and author (especially the Baseball 100, Why We Love Baseball, and The Machine) and I can’t wait for your new book. But I am sorry to say that this podcast is super boring and corny, and just not interesting. There are much better baseball podcasts, specifically Talkin Baseball from Jomboy Media. Sorry guys
Episode 82,064 is a standout
Guys, huge fan, but have been severely disappointed with your general lack of interest in the blue jays. They are in the World Series, have been the most exciting team in the playoffs, and you don’t know how to pronounce the last name of their 2-hitter… it’s Lu-Kas (somehow). Let’s tighten up the Jays coverage please! (Currently 2-0 in game 5).
TLDR: two decent people yammering.
No anger, no meanness, no hate, just love for all that is good. That means rational Yankees hatred and celebrations of virtually everything else in the world that is life-affirming, particularly that which is sports-related. There’s a fair bit of baseball talk, but so, so much more.
As a Yankees fan, I can't stand listening to any Yankees podcasts. But the poscast is a must listen if you adore baseball

This show blends thoughtful sports discussion with personal storytelling, leaning into baseball lore, ownership dynamics, and playful banter between two seasoned writers. Episodes routinely mix deep dives into players, teams, and the business of sports with humor, nostalgia, and charity-driven card-collecting or book-tour chatter. It stands out for its likable duo dynamic, willingness to entertain offbeat tangents, and a philanthropic through-line that repeatedly surfaces in episodes. Potential listeners who enjoy accessible, witty sports talk that isn't afraid to tackle bigger themes should find it engaging, especially those drawn to baseball history, ownership stories, and celebratory fandom moments.
