  • Sometimes good, sometimes bad, always disorganized

This pod is a bit of a mixed bag. Of the three hosts, only Dratnos is at all in touch with how an average player approaches playing WoW. Max and Dorki need to practice working together with co-hosts so they aren’t talking over their co-hosts. All three hosts seem to think their tangents into ketchup packets and what qualifies as a sandwich are entertaining. They are not. I wish I had a skip forward to something interesting button. My advice is make better show notes ahead of time, and be mor... more

  • Love the show but the ads need work

Great hosts and content but they need to figure out what’s going on with the degenerate ads at the start of the show. Sex pills and online gambling? That caught me off guard and my wife was wondering what the heck I was playing.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 106 - MEGASETT IS BACK!
Q: Does the faster patch cadence create a very real potential for perpetually undercooked class design?
Yes, the group discusses how rapid updates plus expanding talent options can leave some specs feeling unfinished, especially when cross-class interactions and apex talents complicate balancing across both raids and dungeons.
Ep. 98 - WE FINALLY INTERVIEWED BLIZZARD!
Q: Paul, what do you do specifically?
Paul Kubit explains he is Associate Game Director on World of Warcraft, working across the Midnight expansion and celebrating 20 years at Blizzard.
Ep. 96 - The Dratnos & Dorki Power Hour
Q: Does Blizzard struggle with designing raid encounters that actually be engaging for two tanks?
Many raid encounters seem to be uninspired for tank gameplay, often leaving off-tanks feeling unfulfilled compared to the engaging responsibilities usually associated with Mythic Plus tanking.
Ep. 94 - THERE IS SO MUCH DRAMA?!
Q: I would like to know if you have advice for transitioning from a player with good logs to a player who's excellent at the game as a whole, and if there are any skills I should try to prioritize over the course of the next season?
It's important to focus on consistency, play with better players, learn from mistakes of others, and practice applying skills in harder content to improve your overall gameplay in World of Warcraft.
Ep. 89 - Will Midnight be Ready for Launch?
Q: What are the concerns about add-ons being removed?
They worry that without add-ons, the gameplay experience may become overly simplistic and might inhibit the strategic options available to players.
