Unfortunately the show has changed on this new platform. I miss hearing Patrick’s laugh. The cast used to seem like a mutual venture that has now ended. I don’t listen to anything else on the Sebastian channel, it was the cast with Pete and Patrick’s laughter that was enjoyable.

  • Long time Cast listener

Can’t believe i’m writing this - I’ve been a long time listener, Patreon member, gone to see many live shows of Sebastian and Pete and this new show - not for me. Feels like the magic is gone - is it too late to go back? Go back to the days when it was laughs for days. Pete has to be the lead his ability to connect and story tell is next level. I’m trying to hang on here but not sure how much longer 😢

Perhaps one of the best interviews I’ve ever heard. So many interrupt with inane questions. Thank you for providing space to one of the greats.

  • Paul Anka???

The new format may grow on me eventually as long as Pete is a big part of it, but it is a bit clunky and awkward at times. I’m sure it feels that way for Sebastian and Pete as well. I am not young, and I kind of know who Paul Anka WAS, but is he someone I want to listen to by choice? No!! I’m sure it was a great episode for folks born in the 1940s and ‘50s, but not my cup of tea. Back to basics, guys!

I don’t mind incorporating the Sirius folks into the podcast, but always include PETE, ... more

Celeb Row, Pool Toys, and Pulling Petes
Q: How did you end up attending the Netflix-backed Ronda Rousey event and what was the vibe in the celebrity section?
We were invited by Netflix to attend; the atmosphere was electric and crowd-driven, with a mix of sport, spectacle, and PR optics; it became a talking point about who gets highlighted on screen.
Paul Anka: Sinatra, Elvis and Olive Oil
Q: How did writing for Sinatra influence your own career and approach to music?
Anka explains that writing for Sinatra taught him humility and the importance of leaving ego at the door, while also recognizing that Sinatra had a unique ability to pull off what others could not.
699: The Pete and Sebastian Show - EP 699 - FIRST DOWN DANCES w/ KYLE MONANGAI
Q: How did the FIRST DOWN celebration start for your team?
Kyle explains that it was a team brainstorm in the locker room inspired by Kobe's on-court presence, evolving into a signature celebration after weeks of discussion and practice.
692: The Pete and Sebastian Show - EP 692 - NOT THAT KIND OF FAMOUS
Q: J.J., when you got our text today, were you sitting at that desk or did you come in from the kitchen and go, I gotta get set up in my office?
I was sitting at the desk. It was perfect. I was literally going through some emails.
677: The Pete and Sebastian Show - EP 677 - J.J. WATT CALLS IN!
Q: Could you tell us what's going on with the kickers in the NFL?
JJ Watt explains that kickers are now training from a young age specifically for the role, and they have better access to manipulate the kicking balls before games, resulting in longer and more accurate kicks.
