I lol throughout the episode! Pete’s analogies are spot on and immediately relatable. I love when he comes up with a funny example of what Sebastian is cantankerous about. Thank you!!!

  • Jimmy from Boston can go

Sebastian is 100% correct about the escapism factor of their show during this pandemic BS... I am being bombarded by bad news everywhere... including these other podcasts... I listen to feel better. I love this show.

The Jimmy from Boston intro gets a little old, it is annoying, other than that, love the show... witty banter is great... love Sebastian! My favorite comedian! Keeps me laughing while I am making art! Thank you guys!

I was surprised you asked AI - instead of your mom or your father about helping your son get through his fear. Grandparents often respond in a different way towards their grandchildren than their own children. Maybe they have gained wisdom and compassion.

You said some compassionate words to him especially telling him about your own fears when you were a child.

Sometimes a hug without words soothes us, no matter our age.

You don t need a comment from me, but here it is. you are a great parent... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hair Journey Continues: Inside Sebastian’s Procedure w/ Dr Parsa Mohebi
Q: Is shaving the head necessary for a successful transplant?
Shaving the head provides a blank canvas that helps surgeons mark and place grafts with precision; there are other methods too, but shaving can improve accuracy and density during the procedure.
Hair Journey Continues: Inside Sebastian’s Procedure w/ Dr Parsa Mohebi
Q: What is the donor area and why is it important for transplantation?
The donor area, especially Permanent Zone 2, is selected because it never loses hair; this ensures transplanted hair comes from stable areas, allowing the top to look natural and dense while the donor area supplies durable grafts.
Celeb Row, Pool Toys, and Pulling Petes
Q: How did you end up attending the Netflix-backed Ronda Rousey event and what was the vibe in the celebrity section?
We were invited by Netflix to attend; the atmosphere was electric and crowd-driven, with a mix of sport, spectacle, and PR optics; it became a talking point about who gets highlighted on screen.
Paul Anka: Sinatra, Elvis and Olive Oil
Q: How did writing for Sinatra influence your own career and approach to music?
Anka explains that writing for Sinatra taught him humility and the importance of leaving ego at the door, while also recognizing that Sinatra had a unique ability to pull off what others could not.
699: The Pete and Sebastian Show - EP 699 - FIRST DOWN DANCES w/ KYLE MONANGAI
Q: How did the FIRST DOWN celebration start for your team?
Kyle explains that it was a team brainstorm in the locker room inspired by Kobe's on-court presence, evolving into a signature celebration after weeks of discussion and practice.
