  • Oh, Paul

Just discovered this pod. This would be such a great podcast. Great content, and great coverage of the Titans. But the language, man. The obligatory foul language. This is the southeast not the Jersey turnpike. My children are in the car, buddy. We go to church down here and love our neighbor and all that. I’m a potential website subscriber but going to have to give it a couple more episodes to see if it cleans up.

  • Fun Listen

I’m a Jaguars fan and I wish we had a podcast like this. Best we have is Pete Prisco. Paul cuts through the sunshine pumping teams sell us and brings the truth to the masses. I’d love his take on Baalke.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Titans Don't Match Niners
Q: What is the biggest surprise position group so far?
Defensive and offensive lines showed depth and some stability, while the receiver group demonstrated potential, though the overall chemistry across units is still developing with a lot of new pieces.
Titans Don't Match Niners
Q: How concerning are the Slye struggles?
The kicker situation is unsettled; he had mixed results, and the team is watching closely ahead of the next opportunities, with Thursday night being a big test; there were other kickers discussed as potential options.
Titans Don't Match Niners
Q: What would have made you think, oh, this was bad practice?
I'd say nothing that implied total collapse; the tone was more about lack of explosive plays and the defense dominating more often than not, with some miscommunications but nothing catastrophic.
PK Pod: Media relationships and Blake Beddingfield
Q: Where do you stand on Jeremiah Love as a prospect in the context of edge versus running back value in the top picks?
Jeremiah Love is a talented back with multi-faceted potential who can contribute as a runner and receiver, potentially relieving pressure on other playmakers. However, the edge position remains a premium in the top ten, so the team must balance positional value with Love's immediate impact.
PK Pod: Media relationships and Blake Beddingfield
Q: Malachi Lawrence is a popular pick in mocks at 35. How would you regard an older college player in the draft and is age a sticking point for the Titans?
Talent level and experience matter more than age; a 25-year-old can be developed if he has a clean track record, but production and fit with the team's needs in year one are crucial. Older players can offer maturity and immediate contribution, but you still want a player who can be productive early and adapt to the NFL pace.
