  • I really tried to like this...

....but the regular host's lack of basic knowledge about things the average fan of Broadway knows made me lose interest. Not up to the standard of the online blog unfortunately. I'll dip back in when Chris hosts from time to time.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Fight Choreography Explained: The Craft, The Challenges, and The Rewards!
Q: What is your approach to keeping actors safe during complex routines?
I establish distance and heat checks, tailor moves to each actor's abilities, and be prepared to change choreography if someone is uncomfortable or at risk, always prioritizing safety over spectacle.
Fight Choreography Explained: The Craft, The Challenges, and The Rewards!
Q: How do you typically begin a fight choreography project?
I start by talking with the director to understand their vision and the script's needs, then assess the performers' experience and any injuries, and finally map out space, levels, and safety boundaries before teaching the moves.
I Saw 700 Plays and Musicals So You Don't Have To!
Q: How did you keep theatre momentum going after closures?
The guests explain a mix of personal resilience, community involvement, and stepping up to tell theatre stories through writing and blogging, which helped sustain interest and support.
How To Best Teach Theatre to Kids with Hannah Crawford!
Q: How did Hannah start building these long-running kids' theatre programs?
She started with a single act class, expanded into multiple levels, and gradually built a community-focused program by focusing on fundamentals, diversifying offerings (acting, improv, stage managing, etc.), and collaborating with parents and nearby theaters.
