This is a good show but ranting about hearing from your listeners gets old fast. “Please write in to tell me about this thing so in two episodes I can rant about how annoying it is to hear from people!” It makes a good show almost unlistenable

The book’s description of his grief and shooting his grandmother’s china in the yard before his mother’s funeral resonated with me.
