  • Fun Fun Fun & Informative

I really enjoy this one, a ton of fun and what great information as well. I listened to the episode with Dr. Pricope about all the things she is doing with the UN and was blown away, then out of curiosity checked out the one about geospatial intelligence, great conversations, fun and informative!

  • Interesting & Bingeworthy

This podcast has opened my eyes to this entire world. I did not even know what geospatial was three months ago. The host is a good mix of witty and fun and approaches these highly technical and informational subjects in a digestible and easy to listen to fashion. I have enjoyed each episode, even the one about Football! (I’m not a football person) Highly recommend this podcast and now my friends have started diving in as well, enjoy!

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Inside America’s Most Powerful Special Forces Military Unit with Sean Naylor
Q: Why was it necessary for JSOC to conduct these operations rather than relying on the CIA, especially in a war zone like Iraq?
Because in a war zone, the military has broader authority and scalability for operations; JSOC could move quickly, conduct low-visibility missions, and protect assets, including CIA personnel, while leveraging direct-action capabilities that the CIA did not always have freedom to execute.
We’re Giving China the AI That Could Defeat Us w/ Dmitri Alperovitch
Q: How does autonomous warfare change the risk landscape?
It augments capabilities and could lower the threshold for entering conflicts, but humans will still be required to fight and make strategic decisions; the focus should be on deterrence and resilience.
We’re Giving China the AI That Could Defeat Us w/ Dmitri Alperovitch
Q: What should the U.S. do about shipments of chips to China?
Close loopholes to prevent export of critical chips even when used in clouds outside China, and avoid enabling China to accelerate post-training capabilities.
We’re Giving China the AI That Could Defeat Us w/ Dmitri Alperovitch
Q: Why is AI considered the crux of national security when dealing with China?
Because AI determines economic and military dominance, and the trajectory of Chinese advancement could redefine who leads the 21st century, influencing defense, industry, and global influence.
