The Multiverse Employee Handbook is quite an interesting podcast, despite the outdated spinning cat memes featuring it posted on TikTok by the square-head boss’s marketing department. The sentient coffee machine somehow manages to not convince the boss that spinning cat isn’t on-trend anymore.
I am so glad I persisted in listening to this wonderfully entertaining show, even though, at first, I was a little embarrassed that I did not *get it*.
Then I realized I did not need to *get it*, and did not need to worry, because somewhere, somehow, I did *get it*.
Then suddenly, five, maybe six episodes in, I felt my synapses firing-off into tiny, twirling somersaults, all in a row, in my brain, tickling both recognition and understanding.
I smiled.
