This podcast is great! Clara is very clear and the topics well thought out and informative.
This podcast has been so helpful and transformative both through my first pregnancy and my work as a labor and delivery nurse. Clara speaks about labor and birth in a way that makes me excited and not afraid to deliver my baby. I would love to hire her as my doula or work bedside her. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the world. Birth is not an emergency; it is a natural, beautiful experience that doesn’t have to be dictated by doctors and science. Keep spreading your light!
Clara was my doula and guided me to a smooth birth after a complicated pregnancy. Listening to her podcast, even now that my baby is here, makes me feel like she is my life doula. I learn so much that still applies to my postpartum body and my parenting journey. If you reject the stereotypes that pregnancy and birth can either be crunchy OR science-based, give this a listen.
Clara shares great tips, has wonderful guests, and will support you in getting informed without getting more scared. This is a fine balance for expecting and new Parents, and Clara has found it.
As a doula I’m always looking for podcasts to share with my clients and this will be added to the list. I like how it goes beyond just birth and into life and the recent episode (ep 4) was soooo good. I’m so proud of you!!

A thoughtful show at the intersection of mindfulness, evidence-based birth practices, and empowering birthing people to advocate for themselves. Episodes commonly explore autonomy in care, birth planning, managing fear, and building supportive networks, often weaving personal birth stories with practical tools like templates and checklists. A standout is the consistent emphasis on compassionate, trauma-informed care and the idea that pregnancy and birth can be navigated with presence, agency, and community, rather than fear or rigid scripts. The show also features clinicians and birth professionals alongside real-life birth experiences, creating a well-rounded resource for expectant families and birth workers seeking balanced, actionable gu... more
