  • Mercyful fate

Dumbfounded that the 4 host haven’t heard an album that’s 40 years old and a pillar of metal. Then one of the guys said Turbo is their favorite priest release…and that explains it all!

  • The Metal Exchange

I’ve been listening to Chris & Justin for almost a year now and TME has become something that I thoroughly look forward to each week. They’re both passionate about the music we love, covering both current and classic releases. It’s fun to interact with them on the social media front as well, because you feel like you know them after listening to numerous episodes! Lol

P.S. I’m looking forward to the annual Savatage episode in 2022, so let’s get to thinking about which masterpiece we’ll be hear... more

  • Fantastic

This is exactly what I want from a metal review podcast - two guys who are obviously so passionate and knowledgeable about the subject discussing a different album every week. As someone whose tastes skew more European, who is still rather disheartened that many European bands do not get their due in the American metal scene, I further find it refreshing that they regularly discuss releases from genres like Power Metal, Symphonic Metal, and Folk Metal. Anyone with even a cursory interest in meta... more

This show truly rocks! Chris and Justin lead with their genuine passion for all things metal, and cover a wide range of bands new and old week after week, offering unique insights, personal experiences and enough off the wall tidbits to earn you some points in your next game of Trivial Pursuit: Metal Edition. These guys live and breathe this music, and their excitement is palpable. As a somewhat casual metal fan over the last 25 years, this show has helped me revisit some of my favorite albums ... more
