Based on the M'Cheyne reading system, this ESV Bible plan features 4 different readings for use in both family and personal devotions. Each day hymn-writer Kristyn Getty reads two passages from the Old Testament, one from the New Testament, and one from either the Psalms or the Gospels. I started this plan a few months ago and I just found this gem. I love the Gettys and I love this reading plan!
This is a great devotional Bible reading to listen to and I would have given it 5 stars. However, with the recent addition of the 30 second ad at the end, it makes in not useful for me since it breaks the concentration of listening to Scripture. Please remove the ad so I can once again enjoy the daily devotion.
This is an excellent podcast to keep up with daily Bible readers. The M’Cheyne plan is great, giving you two OT readings and two NT readings a day, getting you through the OT once and the NT twice in a year. I've been reading my Bible my whole life, but I've always failed to do an orderly "Bible in a year" plan. Thanks to this podcast, I'm finally keeping up! Thank you, and thanks be to God!
LOVE listening to this podcast! It’s been such a blessing to my daily routine. Sometimes it sounds a little artificial. Is she actually reading through the whole Bible or is this her voice developed using AI?
