  • Pleasantly surprised

Well, I don’t often listen to British podcast meaning, the creators are across the pond as we got enough in America that I have a list to listen to. I came across Sam’s. We happen to be in the same podcast community, and I was really surprised by the quality of everything he did from his audio to the way. He introduced his guests and the topics that he chooses . You did a great job. If you’re looking for a wide variety of topics. Give this podcast. I’ll listen, you won’t be disappointed.

  • Very helpful podcast!

Love the host’s accent! That alone makes it worth the listen but the guest and content was helpful too. Nutrition and diet is something I didn’t understand before listening to the episode I did. Now I have a better idea of the concept.

Why You Feel Lonely in a Crowded City - And How to Fix It | Nini Fritz
Q: If listeners want to take this further, what question would you ask them to spark conversation?
The host asks for a listener question; the guest suggests the question: if there were a universal law everyone had to follow, what would it be?
Why You Feel Lonely in a Crowded City - And How to Fix It | Nini Fritz
Q: What are the three core pillars you use to bring holistic well-being to teams and workplaces?
The pillars are designing a life that lights your spark (fulfillment), building deeper connections (quality relationships), and being happier by leveraging internal tools and reframing challenges positively, not just chasing performance metrics.
Why You Feel Lonely in a Crowded City - And How to Fix It | Nini Fritz
Q: And how can we start to fix this? what's the practical path forward?
Focus on intention and cultivating in-person communities: prioritize deeper connections, adopt offline or 'slow' social patterns (like Run Clubs and offline events), and use online tools to spark real-life meetups rather than replace them.
Why You Feel Lonely in a Crowded City - And How to Fix It | Nini Fritz
Q: Why do you think people are feeling so lonely in this world?
The guest suggests that the rise of social media creates a disconnect between online presence and real-life support, with many people having '3 AM friends' but few real-life, emotionally close connections; online interactions are often shallow and prone to dopamine-driven validation rather than deep, meaningful exchange.
You Can’t Lead Others If You Can’t Lead Yourself | Mary Howe
Q: What was the thing the military offered to you at 18 that nothing else did?
Purpose; external leadership modeled by family and military examples gave her a clear mission and drive to serve, which later spurred the shift toward internal leadership.
