madeline is a true music critic. she is wonderfully articulate with complex ideas about music and she works meticulously to deliver such an amazing and thoughtful yet hilarious podcast. i’ve been listening since 2023 and this has truly changed the way i view pop culture and improved my critical thinking abilities. 10/10 recommend. my favorite of all time.
Pleasant listening experience. If you like pop music, pop culture, and someone with good vibes and a good attitude, this is a cute listen.
irreverent at times, but never shallow. i enjoy the incisive takes on pop culture, and her insights make me reconsider my thoughts especially on pop songs which have always seemed merely fun and frivolous. her lyrical analyses are deep but also delightful - she makes me see my favorite songs in a new light.
The Lizard can make you laugh. The Lizard can make you cry. The Lizard can make you critically think. But most importantly, The Lizard can put you on to some of the best movies, shows, and artists. 10 10 10 across the board!
The Lizard (Madeline) holds much wisdom. I just finished the Lover Remade episode from February 13, 2026 and let me tell you, I heard not one lie in the ENTIRE episode. No explanation needed for any of these songs! Highly recommend to all who love music and music commentary
