In the year 2186, Commander Sela Shepard activated the Crucible over planet Earth, destroying the Reaper threat to galactic life. Five years of reconstruction later, and a new threat looms on the horizon. Documents detailing the origin of the reapers and citing the technological gains discovered by Cerberus fanatics have gone missing just as a rise in political pressure from a joint alliance of Ba... more

I was hoping this podcast would be done in audio drama format but I was very disappointed to say the least.
Do yourself a favor. Listen you won’t be sorry.
I know nothing about Mass Effect or about D20 type games but every day I look forward to the journey to and from work so I can listen to these wonderful people drink and adventure through space. I get a lot of looks when I start laughing out loud during that silent commute to work. The characters are quirky, the story is intriguing and it's a stellar time.
I found this podcast a few weeks ago while looking through the search results for mass effect. I really have no affiliation with DnD or any kind of roleplaying, but that didn't make this podcast any less entertaining. The characters are amazing together, the story is great (props to the GM) and I loved it all the way through.
I was super engaged with the plot the whole time, and it had me listening to like five or six episodes a night when I probably should have been sleeping.
I love the show, a... more
I have never been able to enjoy Mass Effect, no matter how hard I've tried and how many times I've played the games. The storytelling and gameplay always fell flat to me, which was particularly galling in light of the clearly passionate work that was put into the world building. Those games are a criminal misuse of the setting.
This show, on the other hand, picks up that same setting and uses it effectivley to tell an actually interesting story about characters with enough depth to feel nuanced ... more
So, y'all sounded bummed at the lack of any new reviews in the Leviathan Softcore episode, so I thought I'd throw my rave review on here. I laughed, I cried, I cringed, and I was inspired. Perfect approach to a sometimes serious/dark story: being goofballs. Worth a listen and telling your friends about, and using as inspiration for your own adventures in the Mass Effect universe.

A bit slow to start in season 1 (and a distinct lack of the best character in Susan) but season 2 is good and season 3 on is great so stick with it. It leaves me laughing out loud at times whilst walking and listening to it - getting me some funny looks from people... thanks for that! Great work though guys, thanks for putting this out there.
A thoroughly entertaining and engaging real play podcast. The joy the cast members bring to the table is clearly heard and welcomes you to see where this bizarre grouping of misfits goes next, perhaps they will even save the Galaxy.
I originally started listening when the show first started but school took over a lot of my life and I didn't keep up. As I was getting ready for Mass Effect Andromeda I stumbled upon it again and had an amazing time listening to everything I had missed. The players and the gm are hilarious with this crazy adventure they are all on. The way they set up this tale in the Mass Effect fiction that inspired a story I'm working on for my own podcast.
This podcast gets so much right. Check it out if you're interested in hearing a great story set in the Mass Effect universe, played through by a group of friends who are all having an absolute blast. They're having so much fun you can't help but have fun right along with them.
The crew get up to an inordinate amount of shenanigans along with the hilarious NPCs. But throughout it all, the story advances and work toward an ending that hits you right in the feels.
Also, the production value for t... more
If you love the Mass Effect universe, you'll love this podcast, whether or not you're familiar with the format. The group members all have great dynamics, which leads to both hilarity and touching moments of character development. The bonus episodes are also well worth a listen. Overall a really fun podcast!!
I stumbled upon this podcast about a week ago and am now almost through all the episodes. I am about start running a Mass Effect d20 game myself, and I wanted to see if anyone else had made it work. And boy howdy did they ever!
So, TLF was my intro to podcasts. Happily, the show is a balance of plot and ridiculousness, which keeps the listener engaged. The characters are likable, too, and as endearingly irritating as the cousins you look forward to seeing at the holidays. Definitely a show for people who love ME, but probably just as enjoyable for anyone who loves aliens and shenanigans.
The DM has such a soothing voice & it's a richly imagined conceptually ambitious Mass Effect RP world. Needs to be in your feed.
This podcast is amazing. I started listening to the show when I restarted ME1 and wanted something to listen to while driving the Mako... And it has taken over my life the past few days and given me all the feels. The interactions between the cast and the DM paint, in their words, 'a beautiful word picture', of the world they live and interact in. Taylor, the GM, manages to create a wholly believable post ME3 world state with intriguing plots and colorful NPCS. Each of the players also brings th... more
