  • Podcast inexplicably fails to play

    The Lancet Hematology in conversation with podcast consistently fails to play, presenting a completely unhelpful message stating “This episode can’t be played on this device.” This bug is 100% reproducible. I subscribe to >50 podcasts, however, only podcasts published by The Lancet seem to be affected by this issue. Several of my colleagues are similarly affected. After troubleshooting the issue with Apple technical support, I was informed that the bug is due to The Lancet’s server configuration... more

FNAID is a very rare condition that can cause severe thrombocytopenia and possibly intracranial hemorrhage due to low platelet count, arising from maternal antibodies crossing the placenta.
