  • Nerds welcome here

I’ve been listening to these fine folks since the beginning. I’ve got to say, they bring a fresh take and atmosphere to a commonly stuffy subject. They keep things light, but respectful and interesting. But best of all, they’re real people with personalities that shine through in each episode that makes listening a joy and something I look forward to each week.

  • It doesn’t feel like all things JRPG. It’s more like All things Trails of Harvestella.

I do enjoy this series. But it seems the only thing I hear is Trails of Harvestella. I have played none of them. I am not saying they are bad games. I have no intention of playing them. I was just hoping to hear about “ All things JRPG’s”. I have played JRPG’s since the late 90’s. I own what I believe is a great/ modest collection of games. But I haven’t heard anyone mention any of them. Always hoping to hear you all talk about a different series. I am not trying to be whiny about this, because ... more

  • Okay, not good, not great

The show should be called The JRPG Tangent. Rarely do they stay on topic. You also have to withstand the endless drumbeat of “Please pay our subscription fee!” I’ve blocked them all on YouTube over that alone. Every 3-4 shows has one worth listening too. It’s an okay show if you have an hour to kill, but not worth seeking out.
